Purpose & Beliefs
OUR PURPOSE
Loving God and Loving People.
Our desire is to help people discover a personal relationship with Jesus, to grow deeper in that relationship, and to spread the gospel through church partnerships and church planting locally and around the world.
Our Beliefs
-
Where do I park? There is plenty of parking in our church parking lot. We have easy accessibility for those with blue placards or who need special assistance. Our greeting team members will be ready to greet you and help you with any needs you may have upon your arrival.
-
Do you have a nursery for babies? Our nursery is staffed with childcare workers who will love your little ones! All children's workers have been through an extensive background check. Nursery is provided for newborn through 4 years old for all of our services.
-
What about my older kids?Faith Kids is our Sunday morning junior church time for all kids ages 4-12. Your kids will learn fun songs, hear an amazing Bible story, and do activity pages or crafts.
-
What goes on during your church services? All of our services begin with a prayer of worship and thanksgiving, followed by about 15-20 minutes of worship and praise music, usually a mix of great hymns of the faith, along with newer songs and praise choruses. Every time you come to Faith, we're going to open God's Word. Faith Baptist Church is a Bible-preaching, Bible-teaching church. We don't take a Bible-ish thought and talk about stories but take a portion of Scripture and dissect it and apply it to our lives. At the conclusion of every service, we give some announcements and sing a final song. One of the ways that we worship God is through our tithes and offerings. We don't pass an offering plate, but have boxes in our foyer to place our offering as you come in or as you leave. Giving of our tithes and offering is between you and God. About once a month, we celebrate communion to remember Christ's sacrifice for us.
-
What should I wear? Some folks ask so we wanted to cover it. At Faith Baptist, we don't have a dress code. You will find many people in jeans and you will also see people dressed in suits and dresses. Wear what you feel is appropriate for a church service.
-
Will I be judged?Have you ever been to a church where you didn't feel welcome or felt like you were judged? Yeah, us too. This is not that place.
