James and his wife, Stacey, both grew up right here in Perry. After high school, James attended Pensacola Christian College in Florida where he earned a degree in Youth Ministries. He became the youth pastor at his home church in Ohio and ministered there for 13 years until the Lord called him to work at a Christian camp in Virginia. James has always had a heart for Christian Camp ministry and he and Stacey worked at two camps in Virginia before moving back to Ohio. In 2019, the Lord burdened them to return to Ohio to be near family. He and his wife have three children, Jack (6), TJ (4), and Anna (2).
